Generalized Snake Graphs from Orbifolds

April 29, 2020, 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM

Location:

Online Event

Esther Banian, University of Minnesota

The snake graph construction from Musiker-Schiffler-Williams provides an expansion formula for cluster variables in cluster algebras from surfaces. We generalize this construction to generalized cluster algebras from orbifolds. This talk will focus on examples and will not assume prior knowledge of cluster algebras. This is joint work with Elizabeth Kelley.
