The distribution of a straight line on closed surface is a basic problem in mathematics. One famous result is irrational flow on torus. It is dense and uniformly distributed. A geodesic on a cube is another example after that, but the uniformity here is not as good as irrational flow on torus. Surprisingly, the representation theory will work here
