Highlight: [May 2019] The 2019 STEM for All Video Showcase includes a video about the Douglass-SAS-DIMACS Computer Science Living-Learning Community (CS LLC). The three-minute video features several CS LLC students describing what being part of the CS LLC means to them. The annual Video Showcase features short videos about over 200 innovative projects aimed at improving STEM learning and teaching that have been funded by the National Science Foundation and other federal agencies. Highlight: [February 2018] With generous support from Microsoft Research and Nokia Bell Labs, a group of 13 Rutgers women participated in the 2017 Grace Hopper Celebration, October 4-6, 2017 in Orlando, FL. The group included nine members of the CS LLC from the class of 2020, a member of the class of 2019 who is the undergraduate peer academic leader for the CS LLC, the CS LLC graduate mentor, and the CS LLC program director. Highlight: [September 2017] The CS LLC class of 2021 arrived at Rutgers on August 31, 2017. In the days before classes began, students learned their way around campus, met their new CS LLC classmates, their faculty advisor (and DIMACS Director) Rebecca Wright, their peer academic leader, and their graduate student mentor. Their arrival on campus, as well as the LLC community they joined, is described in a DIMACS News Highlight.
