This conference is geared towards exposing faculty teaching undergraduates to two current research topics relevant to the classroom, involving them in writing materials useful in the classroom.

The conference is also aimed at reconnecting faculty to the mathematical sciences enterprise by involving them in a leading research center which is a consortium of Princeton University, Rutgers University, AT&T, Bellcore, Bell Labs/Lucent Technologies and NEC Research. There will be opportunities to follow up after the conference by getting connected to DIMACS researchers and other DIMACS programs throughout the year.

Sessions will be held at the DIMACS headquarters, located at Rutgers University in Piscataway, NJ

Lodging & Meals
Conference participants will be staying at the Wyndham Garden Hotel in Piscataway, less than a ten-minute ride from the Busch Campus of Rutgers University. During the conference, meals will be provided on site.

Who may apply?
Faculty from two and four-year colleges and others whose primary job is undergraduate teaching.
